I am planning on creating a large database of optimal monitor settings. If you have a strong preference for a certain setting on your monitor I ask you to come and add your 2 cents. If you have a calibrator that's even better. Here is the thread, on Anandtech: click

Formerly (and rather improperly) called the Black Level Test, the Dark Grayscale Test helps determine how well your LCD reveals image detail. Displaying the dark shades (and black) is the main trouble area for LCDs when against CRTs. |
